Relief Plaque
Custom aluminium artwork reliefs! Great to memorialise a passed person or pet
How we do it:
Step 1: We start with the image you provide and replace the background with a plain white or plain black background
Step 2: We convert your image into a 3D surface called a mesh based on the colours. Sometimes, we need to colour shift the image to achieved the desired result. In this instance, darker colours are deeper and lighter colours are shallower.
Sometimes this means certain features come across a little backward: for example, the dogs nose is machined deeper.
Because we use contrasting shades to define details, subject photos with lots of contrast work better.
Step 3: We draw the block that the mesh will go onto. This includes engraving or other details that you might want
Step 4: We program your part and machine it on our CNC mill, before shipping it to you! This process can take about a week (we may have to order in material and fit it in around our other jobs).
